2000 Harley Davidson Road King-FLHRC Vivid Black 27,000 mi. Excellent condition,Garage stored, all maintenance serviced at dealer. Selling my 2000 Road King. The bike has always been garage kept, never downed or involved in an accident. I have all service records and receipts for anything that has been done to the bike. I'm also including the quick detachable passenger backrest. Add-ons include Vance & Hines slip-on pipes, vintage saddle bag guards, stealth luggage rack, chrome head light visors, Kury highway pegs, and Sundowner seat. Just had the 21k service,and replaced with new rear/front tire, SE cam chain tensioner kit, with high volume oil pump, quickey push rod kit, and installed upgraded AP 37 performance cams. Tue, 19 Jul 2011Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $190.6 million over the second quarter of 2011, thanks to the first year-on-year quarterly improvement in the U.S. market in nearly five years. For the three months ended June 26, 2011, Harley-Davidson’s operating income totaled $301.9 million, a 38.0% increase from the $218.8 million reported in the same period of 2010.
Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care
Tue, 26 Mar 2013A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
