This bike started out as a 2000 Road king. rake 18 degrees, with a 26" chrome wheel and air ride
wheel was in black plasti-dip stripped it to see if I liked it better upgraded intake and exhaust SMT triple tree 9 degree neck chopped 9 degrees new tires stretched bags/tag and front fender After market lights with hidden turn signals License plate has the running lights and brake lights Trask V-vine handle bars flush gas cap Custom sculpted seat (very nice looking and comfortable) Black satin paint (not the greatest, think its satin rattle can, which makes it easy to touch up) Upgraded floor boards Has an 88" motor Air ride front and rear. it goes rather low.. almost lay on the ground. front brakes are a little soft.. just need bled Bought the bike thinking I had time and interest in getting back into riding.. and I don"t.. Mustang Announces Metal Flake Seat Colors and Display for Sturgis
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Just in time for Sturgis, Mustang Seats has release new color options for its custom seats. Designed to match the retro colors on Harley-Davidson’s Hard Candy Custom collection, the vinyl seats have metal flake in six available colors available on Mustang’s Tripper Solo, Tripper Fastback and DayTripper seats. According to Mustang, after the starting its custom seat program last fall, so many customers requested a metal flake option that they had to provide it.
2010 Harley-Davidson Edition F-150 Revealed
Wed, 11 Feb 2009Unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show this week, the 2010 Harley-Davidson Ford F-150 is officially the first Harley-Davidson edition truck to be constructed from the award-winning 2009 F-150 chassis. This niche market co-branding exercise marks the 14th Harley-Davidson edition of an F-Series truck dating back to 2000. The collaboration between these two companies has produced eight F-150 models, as well as six Super Duty F-250, F-350, and in 2009, the first Harley-Davidson F-450 edition truck.
Harley-Davidson Sells Test Track to Chrysler
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Harley-Davidson has sold its 531-acre private test track in Florida to the Chrysler Group for $7 million. The property, located off of Interstate 75 in Naples, Fla., includes six miles of track including a 2.1-mile straightaway and several buildings. The track was originally built for Ford, with construction completed in 1992.
