Harley-Davidson Touring description
You are viewing a one-of-a-kind, 1999 Cleveland Indians Custom, Dyna Low Rider Harley-Davidson. This rare collectible has been autographed by 27 players of the 1999 Cleveland Indians baseball team and is the only one in existence. Most rare collectibles have one to three autographed signatures on them. This one has 27 making it very unique and highly sought after. This turn of the century collectors motorcycle was designed with the first year of the 88 cubic inch twin cam, 1450 cc motor and has been customized, chromed out with the added feature of a dual disc front braking system with a seat height of 26 inches. This motorcycle was shipped from the Harley-Davidson manufacturing plant to the Freedom Harley-Davidson dealership in Canton, OH. Freedom Harley and the Cleveland Indians teamed up for a promotion called the Grand Slam giveaway. The dealership customized the bike from the standard factory version to what it is today. The bike was then delivered to Jacobs Field ball park (now known as Progressive Field) in Cleveland, OH and signed by the players. A clear coat was applied to protect and preserve the 27 autographs and Indians name on the tank. The bike was put on display to all fans who attended each home game giving every fan a shot at winning the GRAND SLAM. In the off-season, the Low Rider was displayed throughout numerous Harley-Davidson dealerships in Northeast Ohio, giving all customers who entered the dealership an opportunity to win the raffle. I, the seller, was fortunate enough to become the GRAND SLAM WINNER. The signatures on the tank include Indians players such as 5x All-Star Jim Thome, 12x All-Star Manny Ramirez, 11x Gold Glove Award winner and Hall of Famer Omar Vizquel, 5x AL stolen base leader Kenny Lofton, and many more All-Stars, MVP's, and players of World Series winning teams to list. This bike has been preserved in storage for 17 years and is in like new condition with 2055 miles on the speedometer. The bike was on display for fans, players, media, and television at game one of the 2016 WORLD SERIES; Cleveland Indians vs the Chicago Cubs. At that game the speedometer hit 2016 which really made the fans and talk shows go crazy. The day was electric with hype as you can imagine. This Low Rider is not meant for your average Harley-Davidson enthusiast. This is truly a Barrett Jackson marketable item. The authenticity of this unique collectible can be verified by the Grand Slam plaque that will be also included in the shipment to the buyer. Here is your chance to make this one-of-a-kind collectible yours! |
