H-D Confirms Road Glide Dump

In a conference call with investors yesterday, Harley-Davidson Inc. admitted the rumors are true: the Motor Company is dropping the Road Glide. According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, during the investor call Thursday discussing second-quarter results Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) Senior Vice President and CFO John Olin publicly confirmed the previously reported model dump to the Motor Company’s Touring lineup.

Harley-Davidson Confirms 500cc Model on the Way, Says Electric Harleys Not That Far-Fetched

It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line. Enterprise Offering Harley-Davidsons For Rent In Las Vegas

Enterprise Rent-A-Car today announced a new pilot program, offering select Harley-Davidson motorcycles for rent in Las Vegas. The bikes will be available at a specific location at 4517 W. Flamingo Road, right near the Las Vegas strip.
