Up for auction is a 1989 Harley Davidson FLHS.  The condition of this motorcycle is excellent. Mileage is at 58152.  The motor is stock and shows no sign of leaks or defects.  The paint is in its original condition and it shows no sign of major defects. The previous owner was an airplane mechanic and his extreme attention to detail shows. The motorcycle has a clear title, runs and drives excellent.  I have included lots of high quality pictures detailing this wonderful motorcycle. Buyer is responsible for arranging the shipping of the motorcycle and there is no warranty included in this sale. Terminator 2 Harley-Davidson Is Coming Home

If you thought Arnold Schwarzenegger’s greatest role was in Terminator, then you should make your way to Milwaukee: The Harley-Davidson Museum has acquired one of the few surviving 1990 Harley-Davidson FatBoy motorcycles used in the filming of Terminator 2: Judgement Day. At the time of filming, the FatBoy was one of Harley-Davidson’s newest models, and the one now in the Museum’s permanent collection was ridden by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1991 action classic. “Terminator 2 is an iconic film and a celebrated piece of pop culture history,” said Jim Fricke, Curatorial director of the Harley-Davidson Museum.

Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011

In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.

Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.
