Blew out my hip (not bike related) Can't work on my bike & Doc says hip will not support bike. My 1989 FLHTC is a road warrior, not a show bike, it has black Imron paint with silver ghost flames. Minimal chrome as it was built for go not show. It was disassembled in 2010 with about 75000 miles on it, everything was rebuilt/replaced to make it as close to new as possible. Tires & battery were replaced in 2015. It has not been ridden in about 6 months, but started & warmed up every other day & STA-BIL in the gas. Has had AMSOIL lubricants in it since the rebuild. Installed a new MUSTANG seat just before hip injury. The art work on the back of the tour pak is custom paint, not stickers. Comes with boxes of original chrome, parts, seat, etc. The fuel float in the tank needs replaced. The on/off switch/fork lock was replaced with toggle switches on the dash. Radio does not work, I like the sound of the bike. I had a new oil pump check ball & spring installed & the oil & filter changed last week by my local bike shop mechanic / owner. Includes Rally Pac touring luggage, Protector bike cover. 2 pair of like new leather chaps fits 32-38 waist, 2 NELSON-RIGG red/black/silver size large rain suits & motorcycle jack. Photos on request. If you want to hear it run, message me & I will call you & go to the garage & fire it up. It's killing me to sell it, but it needs a good home & to be on the road. Buyer must pickup & I cannot help much loading it on truck or trailer. |

Tue, 06 Sep 2011Chris Fillmore of Oxford, Mich., has won the 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Championship. Fillmore ended the season on a victorious note, winning the 2011 AMA Pro Road Racing season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The Bruce Rossmeyer/Geico racer finished the season with five wins and eight podium appearances in nine races in the Harley-Davidson XR1200 spec racing series.
