For Sale is a Custom 1987 Harley Electraglide Classic Touring bike w/ the original 1340 EVO motor

This is a NO RESERVE auction
Factory trans/ engine and original oe Keihen butterfly carb

current miles are unknown as the previous owner swapped out the front end/ gauges prior to purchase


Bike ran and drove very good previous to starter switch going out. 
Has lots of new and aftermarket parts(as listed below)


Original numbers matching 87' Frame/ motor and title. 

Hasnt been out this year yet since being put away for winter.

Very nice example of a custom 80's Electra glide. Isn't perfect, by any means but a good all around driver. does have some small paint chips on the  fenders and some dents and dings in the fork shroud chrome. Due to the bags not being original, previous owner cut right side bag to clear the battery.

Engine doesnt smoke and has good compression w/ no oil blow bye on the rings

does need new starter switch and front brake rotors prior to being driveable.front handlebar controls need screws replaced to be secured properly

Now the new Harley-Davidson Riding Academy is the only national rider training program hosted by Harley-Davidson dealerships and conducted on an all-new Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Since its inception in 2000, Harley-Davidson’s rider training program has successfully trained more than 350,000 new riders with a premium Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF)-approved rider training experience that guides students on their journey from the classroom to the street with an emphasis on building student confidence on their road to independence.

While exciting, the winter X Games have clearly been lacking one thing – motorcycles – and the Motor Company has joined with ESPN to bring ice racing to mainstream audiences. Harley-Davidson is adding a new factory tour program offering visitors a personal look at the company’s York production facility. For years, the M has been offering free factory tours of its operations in York, Pa., Kansas City, Mo., Tomahawk, Wis., and Menomonee Falls, Wis., facilities. In 2009, Harley-Davidson introduced a premium tour that takes guests into “employee-only” areas called the “Steel Toe Tour” at its Menomonee Falls location.
