Harley-Davidson Touring description

CLICK ON THESE YOUTUBE LINKS FOR BIKE VIDEO:

As stated on the title, 46000 original miles and now 580 since rebuild. The fifth and sixth digit of
the VIN reads (DA). This stands for Police Windshield which denotes a windshield and not a front
fairing from the factory. I removed the windshield for the summer months. I took before and after
video of the entire rebuild with the engine and frame VIN numbers throughout to prove the bike has
been completely rebuilt. All major parts of the bike are original. The engine and transmission were
disassembled for inspection and reassembled to factory tolerances with the exception of the pistons
and rings being + .005 over . The pistons are Keith Black hypereutectic with  Hastings moly rings.
All engine and transmission castings are dated and are original ie. rocker boxes, heads, cylinders,
case halves, inner and outer primary, transmission case. As for the rest of the bike , if it was able to
be disassembled it was. Every piece was stripped of paint, inspected and brought back to like-new
condition. The same was performed on the transmission. Performance modifications to the engine
were limited to the 10:1 compression KB pistons, Andrews EV-27 camshaft, Jims roller lifters and
adjustable pushrods, S&S Super E carb and intake. Crane Hi-4 ignition makes it possible to run
pump gas. Harley vivid black base coat /clear coat was used on all sheet metal parts after being
primed with Dupont DP-40. Frame is painted and not powder coated to allow non-detectable chip
repair. January 2017 the bike becomes 30 yrs old and qualifies as antique. This bike is for sale locally
and I reserve the right to terminate this auction before its end.

THE BUILD LIST IS AS FOLLOWS; NOT ALL IS LISTED:
- Timken bearings were used throughout the engine and transmission rebuild
