1987 Harley Davidson "Sportglide" started life as a Tourglide classic but was converted. 100% reliable road ready transportation. Engine was completely overhauled at 100,000 miles with new ultima cases, Harley OEM .020 pistons and rings, .650 Screaming Eagle valve springs and adjustable pushrods, Revtec roller rocker arms and lifters, harley "L" grind cam, steel breather, new clutch and primary sprocket, tensioner and chain, upgraded 32 amp charging system, Mikuni HSR42 carb, reinhardt 2 into 1 exhaust, Metzler front and rear tire with approximately 3000 miles on them (very good), removable windshield. The left saddlebag lid is damaged. I have owned it since 2007 and I am selling it to fund a Drag racing project. Call me at 252-363-1324 and I will be happy to answer any questions. 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Lineup Updated with Project Rushmore Enhancements

Harley-Davidson announced a number of updates to its touring models, a cumulative result of a product development effort the company dubs Project Rushmore. The enhancements cover several areas, addressing performance, comfort, style and infotainment needs, and will be implemented across eight 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring models: the Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Tri-Glide Ultra Classic trike and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited. “Project RUSHMORE has been touched by thousands of people, most of them being our customers and our employees,” says Scott Habegger, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Planning.

Harley-Davidson Breakout Recall Caused by Fuel Tank Angle

An official recall announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sheds some light on the cause of a recall campaign on 2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Breakout models. We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.
