Harley-Davidson Touring description

This rare chain drive 1984 FXRT sport glide is in pretty good condition and has most of its original parts.
Motor frame and trans all match.
Clean title
New tires
The last owner had this FXRT as a second bike and never rode it.  He had the bike gone through / serviced with new tires and only put 500 miles on the bike before deciding to he did not need two bikes.
The fiberglass bags are in good condition was just a few minor scratches. I don't see any dents on the gas tank or any major scratches or nicks.
The fairing has two small cracks , one by the fairing mount by the speaker, and another above the radio .
The gauge pod on the right is loose and will need attention, looks like the last owner was bumping it with the handlebars. I put new Polly bushings on the risers and the bars don't bump into it anymore.
I'd say The bike is in pretty good condition for being 30 years oId.
I noticed the stock exhaust pipes were hollowed out and painted black . Sounds great
No keys for the bags but they can be made , the locks / latches are good.
This is a chain drive evo with a oil bath and it does not leak .
The motor does not leak oil.

The idea came to Devin Santana, proprietor of Nebraska City Iron Works, one day when he was riding his Harley-Davidson down the road and looked down at his feet.

Cubans Host First Harley-Davidson Rally

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

Relations between the U.S. and Cuba have been strained for decades but that hasn’t stopped some Cubans from enjoying a piece of Americana. About 70 Cuban Harley-Davidson riders (or “Harlistas” as they call themselves) gathered in the resort town of Varadero for the country’s first-ever Harley-Davidson rally.
