Harley-Davidson Touring description

You are buying 2 nice bikes. the red one is a 1981, HD.  This bike is a Shovelhead with a Delcon bottom end. It is a 4 speed transmission. It is a electric or a kick start bike. Bike has been sitting in a garage for a while. Bike starts and run very good. The brakes and clutch need adjusted. The bike doesn't need much of anything. Nice bike. This bike is insured for replacement value of 18,500.00, by State farm Insurance.  The black bike is a 2009 Custom bike made by East Texas Choppers of Terrell, TX. The motor is a Shovelhead motor and it has a 4 speed transmission. I had this bike built in 2009 and rode it around for 6 years. This bike has never been titled. I have the MSO paperwork for you to get the 1st original title to this bike. This bike cost me over 19,000.00 to have it built. You will also get a motorcycle stand with them. I can not ride any more, so I am selling them, so I will never be able to try again. My name is Eldy, I live in Henryetta , Ok. my phone at the house is 918 659 9665, and cell is 918 703 0719. These are once in a life time offers. I can take cash and trade on these bikes or straight sale too. Enjoy and happy bidding.Thank you

Harley-Davidson representatives in Japan have identified the owner of the motorcycle lost in last year’s tsunami but later found on a remote beach in Canada. The 29-year-old owner, Ikuo Yokoyama, lives in Yamamoto, Japan, in Miyagi Prefecture, the region hardest hit by the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Yokoyama survived the disaster but lost three family members and is still living in temporary accommodations.

Harley-Davidson's Production Stoppage Was Caused by Non-compliant Brake Lines

Fri, 29 Jul 2022

Production ramps up to meet year-end targets Back in May, Harley-Davidson announced it would temporarily halt motorcycle production due to a “regulatory compliance matter” regarding an unspecified part from a third-party supplier. Harley-Davidson initially estimated the stoppage would last two weeks but it eventually lasted 19 days before production resumed on June 6. The actual cause for the delay remained unclear some speculating the issue was related to the powertrains, as the stoppage only affected Harley-Davidson’s gas engine-powered motorcycles and not the electric LiveWires.
