Harley-Davidson Touring description

YOU ARE LOOKING AT A 1977 SHOVELHEAD WITH A PANHEAD SIDECAR. THE BIKE IS SHOWING 14000 MILES AND I DONT THINK THAT IS FAR OFF. IT LOOKS TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL FRONT TIRE BUT THE REAR HAS BEEN CHANGED. THE BIKE WAS ORDERED NEW AT PATES HARLEY DAVIDSON BY THE OWNER MARY JO PATE. THE PATES OWNED THE HARLEY DEALEARSHIP IN CHATTANOOGA,TN FROM THE 40'S TO THE LATE 80'S. THIS IS A TRUE SIDECAR BIKE WITH ADJUSTABLE TRIPPLE TREES. THE BIKE RUNS GOOD , ALL THE BRAKES WORK AND THE TRANS IS SMOOTH. THE SIDECAR IS A 1949 PANHEAD BODY BUT MARY JOE PUT IT ON A 58 FRAME WITH A JUICE BRAKE IN 1958 WHEN THE DUO GLIDE CAME OUT. THE BODY IS VERY SOLID WITH NO RUST OR REPAIRS . PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU CAN'T PAY !!!

Pretty it may be, but you wouldn't catch me spending £160,000 on this 1915 Harley-Davidson 11-F Twin that's coming up for sale at a Bonhams auction. It's allegedly one of the most sought-after Harleys and has buyers from around the world itching to splash out on it. Not literally, you'd hope.

It’s probably not conducive for sleeping in heavenly peace, but Harley-Davidson has released a Christmas-themed ad with the song “Silent Night” performed by the revving V-Twin engine of a Softail Breakout. Titled “The Sound of the Festive Season”, the ad spot was produced by U.K agency Big Communications for Harley-Davidson Europe Middle East and Africa. According to AdWeek, the ad was conceived, sold and produced in just 72 hours.
