1972 Harley FLH - "King of the Highway" Touring Machine - 12,874 Original Miles - All Matching Numbers - Original NOT REBUILT - Great condition, Cracked "Lower Blue Windshield" (upper half of two piece bottom Blue Section) upper half is fine. 1972 . Bike was properly stored Owner passed away his Brother Gary had reputable Shop rebuild Carburetor, Points, Condenser, New Master Cylinder, Brakes, Lines, New Gas Tanks, Tires & Tubes, Chain, Oils Changed and runs nice. Original White Seat (on Piston Spring) with buddy springs, Everything works; Directional's , Flashers, Spots, Hi/Low Beam, Tail/Brake lights. Last Registered 1981 before storage... Road Tested August 2013 - Runs Great! Pick-Up Only with Cleared Payment, Cash or Wire Transfer from recognized bank Bike will not be released until funds are fully cleared. Easy Rider 40th Anniversary
Tue, 27 Oct 2009Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary. The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.
Harley-Davidson Opens Latin America Office in Miami
Thu, 13 Oct 2011Harley-Davidson opened a new regional headquarters in Miami, Fla., to house the company’s Latin America operations. The new Harley-Davidson Latin America headquarters supports the Motor Company’s subsidiaries in Brazil, Mexico and other countries in Central and South America. Harley-Davidson projects international sales to exceed 40% of the company’s revenue by 2014 with the Latin America office a prime area of growth.
