1971 Shovelhead FLH Harley Davidson Electra Glide
Super Clean 1971 Shovel. The motor has 1800 Miles on it since it was professionally built by Tommy Bubel @ RED Racing in Boca Raton Florida. Upgraded with, CV Carb, S&S Heads, 80" Wheels & Cylinders, Points ignition. Upgraded to disk brakes front and back. Very nice Orange and Cream Paint. There are a few small chips. Matching saddle bags with mounting brackets. 50% Life left in the tires. The neck has been molded with a slight rake. The bike always starts on the first or second kick. There is plenty of power and she is geared to cruise nicely on the highway at 65-70 MPH. The electric starter is currently disconnected because the jack shaft was sticking. Clean Clear Florida Title. First introduced in late-2013 for Harley-Davidson Twin-Cam engines, ACCEL’s Stealth SuperCoils provide quicker engine starting and improved throttle response, while hiding all ignition wiring in the head of the self-contained coil pack; eliminating the need for spark plug wires and creating a clean, custom look. In addition to the flat black and natural aluminum finishes, the Sportster Stealth SuperCoils are offered in flat black with polished aluminum edges. Each SuperCoil mounts directly to the spark plug and features a cross-functional cast aluminum cover that also acts as a heat sink, pulling heat away from the cylinder heads.

Fri, 01 Nov 2013Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
