Harley-Davidson Touring description

Beautiful 1966 Harley-Davidson FLH Police Special Electra-Glide motorcycle in excellent condition. Rides and shifts great. Has new Progressive shocks, new generator/voltage regulator combination, new S&S super carburetor, new plugs and plug wires, new coil, new Dunlap tires with only 8 miles on them. New Paughco exhaust system. The primary chain was replaced with belt drive system, new brake shoes and master cylinder. All fluids changed with Amsoil synthetic. LRD lights in the rear and new bright halogen bulb in the headlight. New parts and chrome over the bike. Previous owner claims the top end was rebuilt around 3,500 miles ago. Various receipts from what he did and what I did will be included along with owners manual and original repair manual. The only flaw is the electric starter will not engage but kicks over and starts pretty easy. New starter relay installed and faint clicking can be heard but wont engage the starter motor for some reason. Seems like easy fix or adjustment but I will leave that up to the new owner. Also has a new battery and tender connection so that is not the problem.

Milwaukee’s The Iron Horse Hotel

Historically speaking, the kinds of places that have openly accepted or invited motorcycle enthusiasts and their bikes were lacking in a number of areas. While they may have been convenient and offered motorcycle-friendly amenities, they did so with little comfort or luxury. On the other hand, accommodations on the higher end of the spectrum were pretentious and inconvenient for storing bikes and gear.

Barbie and Ken get biker makeover

Mon, 15 Feb 2010

IF YOU'VE a young daughter and you want to keep her away from motorcycles when she's older (or more likely the men that ride them) then look away now.Yes folks, Barbie and Ken are getting serious makeover to keep them up-to-date for 2010 - the new Harley-Davidson endorsed couple now come complete with biker gear, tattoos and even piercings (a Prince Albert, perhaps?). It makes you wonder what Mattel, the company behind the plastic duo, has next in the pipeline. Maybe they'll have a model of Birmingham airport, where Ken can kick the sh*t out of rival bike gang members?

2014 AMA Pro Flat Track Grand National Championship On The Line At Pomona

Fri, 10 Oct 2014

Granted, flat track racing isn’t our specialty at MO, but we’re no doubt fans of the action. See our coverage from the 2012 season finale for proof. The following is from an AMA Pro Racing press release: A total of 15 races over eight months couldn’t separate Jared Mees and Bryan Smith by much.
