Harley-Davidson Sportster description

I am the original owner, and only person in the drivers seat of this bike.  It has not been ridden hard, and has only been ridden twice in the past 2 years. Extras include HD hard leather locking bags, detachable windshield, road bars, peg extensions, and a Pioneer XM Radio/MP3 player.   I also have a portable audio box that goes with the Pioneer Player for use away from the bike.  You may also hook any portable music device to the waterproof speakers.

The dent happened from crossing a rough rail road track. I am short, so the bike is lowered as far as it can go, I hit a bump, and the forks hit the fender.  I added a picture of the front fender but you can hardly tell that there is a dent.  The white mark is reflection from the sun.

The windshield mounts very easily. 2 large clips on each side, one top, and one bottom.   See Picture

The bags hold an average amount.  Picture of left bag has music amplifier attached.  Bags will hold a medium amount.

Service has been maintained by Fortunes Motorcycles in Sterling Ill.

I also had a gel pad inserted into the drivers part of the seat.  The seat is not factory, it is a Mustang Seat.

Tires are original, but in good shape.  Picture of both front and back tires are below

Minimal corrosion on wheels  and minimum rust on road bars.

When in Rome for Harley’s 110th

Mon, 03 Jun 2013

In addition to all the other goings-on scheduled for Harley-Davidson’s 110th celebration in Rome, Italy, Pirelli and LowRide magazine are teaming up to bring Italian Motor Company enthusiasts even more. During the June 13-16 celebration Pirelli is setting up shop at Lido di Ostia, transforming the Rome Nautical Club in to the Pirelli Clubhouse for this occasion. Guests at the Pirelli Clubhouse can attend tattooing sessions, where images created by Fashion Tattoo Studio will be imprinted on a range of tires. For those who want to try the thrills of driving a racing car through iconic racetracks around the world, the Formula 1 simulator will be available throughout the four-day celebration. Also on show is the new summer collection of Pzero clothing.  Pirelli technicians will hold product workshops illustrating the importance of tires on custom motorcycles.

Milwaukee’s The Iron Horse Hotel

Tue, 19 May 2009

Historically speaking, the kinds of places that have openly accepted or invited motorcycle enthusiasts and their bikes were lacking in a number of areas. While they may have been convenient and offered motorcycle-friendly amenities, they did so with little comfort or luxury. On the other hand, accommodations on the higher end of the spectrum were pretentious and inconvenient for storing bikes and gear.
