Harley-Davidson Sportster description

1998 Harley Sportster 883 Engine. Some customizations including front an.d rear fender, beach bars, dual tanks, Two-Up Seat, and mirrors. Comes with original Harley seat and tank.

 Good used condition. Needs work on Forward Controls. Msg me for details. Good tires. Recent tune up. No speedometer  or turn signals. (wiring still intact) Touchy between gears.(due to forward controls) Message me if you have any other questions.

 

Purchased from a local Harley Davidson Dealership. Bought with a Salvage title as the motorcycle has been rebuilt and this is how I bought it.

Great starter bike or for anyone who just likes to ride and work on them. Good be customized to just how you want it.

Harley-Davidson Museum’s Custom Bike Show Weekend on Labor Day

Labor Day weekend 2014, the place for Harley-Davidson fans to be is at the Harley-Davidson Museum. Starting Thursday, August 28 at 5:00 PM, the biggest bike night of the riding season kicks off the event-filled weekend. The holiday gathering will also include two custom bike shows, a women’s ride, displays of the 2015 Harley-Davidson Models, and the last chance to see the H-D Museum’s summer show entitled The American Road.

The Hydra-Glide name celebrates its 75th anniversary, dating back to the first hydraulic fork that was equipped to a Harley-Davidson, replacing the springer front end in 1949, while the “slash” fuel tank design, emblem, classic round air filter cover, two-toned windshield, seat, and cases, are all nods to the 1956 FLH. Eric Bostrom to Race TTXGP for Brammo at Laguna Seca

Eric Bostrom has signed on to ride the Brammo Empulse RR in the electric motorcycle race at Laguna Seca July 28-29. The race is the final stop on the TTXGP‘s North American series and a joint event with the FIM’s ePower series. The AMA racing veteran will join Steve Atlas to represent Team Icon Brammo at Laguna Seca.
