Harley-Davidson Sportster description

Very nice sportsted/bobber, started life as a 1986 model 883. The engine was built at the HD dealer, high compression pistons, big cams, ported heads, S&S carb and after market cases were installed. I didnt own the bike when the engine was built so i dont know what rods and wheels are in it. I do know its a very quick, fun little ride that we have had for 5 years. We have rode the bike 400 miles at a time so i know its a good dependable bike.  The frame was sent to bitterend choppers (http://bitterendchoppers.com/RandallLHardtailSporty.html) by the 2nd owner to get all the frame work done. The frame, wheels, tank and rocker boxes are all powder coated. The bars are 16 inches tall, has fwd controls with bicycle style pegs along with mid pegs for down the highway. I have changed the gear comming out of the tranny just to make it ride down the highway alittle easier. This is just a simple, cool little bike. It has no speedo or blinkers. There isnt a thing wrong with it, we have other interest now and hate to let it sit in the shop and collect dust. If you have any questions please ask, Thanks
