BEAUTIFUL 2001 YELLOW 883 SPORTSTER - PRICED $1,500 UNDER REGULAR VALUE


MY HOBBY IS FIXING UP BIKES. THIS WAS AN INSURANCE SALE AND WHEN I PICKED IT UP I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES.
THE ONLY TWO THINGS WRONG WITH THIS BIKE WERE TWO BROKEN TAIL LIGHTS - THAT'S IT. OF COURSE IF YOU'VE EVER REPLACED TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS ON A SPORTSTER YOU KNOW IT'S QUITE A CHORE.

This Sportster is simply beautiful and hardly ridden in 12 years and it shows. My best guess is that it was being transported to Daytona or Sturgis or some event by one of the schlock transporters who pack bikes in trailers and the turn signals got banged up against another bike.

THERE IS ONE TINY SCUFF ON THE FRONT FENDER AND ONE TINY DING IN ONE OF THE CHROME HEADER HEAT SHIELDS AND SOME TINY DINGS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE AIR CLEANER COVER. 

THE BIKE STARTS, IDLES, RUNS, SHIFTS, BRAKES AND RIDE PERFECTLY.

HAS FORWARD CONTROLS, SEAT BACK AND CHROME OIL TANK. I CHANGED OIL, FILTER, GEAR CASE OIL AND ADJUSTED PRIMARY CHAIN.

HAS MARYLAND TITLE IN MY NAME (NOT AN OPEN TITLE SIGNED OVER FROM SOMEONE ELSE)
This is NOT a Salvage Title so it does not have to pass a Salvage Title inspection in any state. It already passed Maryland's Salvage Title inspection for Road Worthiness and passed and the Police Officer loved the bike.

A Harley-Davidson dealership in Pueblo, Colo., suffered some serious damage after heavy winds from a spring storm ripped off the wall of the dealership’s second floor. The 34,000 square-foot Outpost Harley-Davidson dealership on I-25 in Pueblo usually features a high front wall that sticks up above the building’s gable roof (see the “before” picture below). The damage occurred early in the morning and it’s not clear at this point if anyone was around when it happened.
