Removed Tach and installed chrome bracket for speedometer Custom Wrinkle black power coated "ham can" air cleaner Sampson Ripsaw exhaust Currently installed newer 2 up seat with a sissy bar Upgraded 19" front laced wheel The rear tire is going to need replaced as the person who installed it used a wheel/tire off of a Buell which is to wide for riding 2 up Bike has been upgraded to chain drive due to the larger wheel I do know that the starting button on the handlebars does not work all the time, could be an intermittent short, may need replaced, not sure. A push button was installed on the starter and works every time. It's back up alright guys up for auction is a 2001 Harley Davidson Sportster the unique thing about this bike is the turbocharger this bike has a custom turbo kit on it I was told to the turbo is a t25 also I was told the stock jugs were bored to a 1200 with forged pistons and s&s rodsI do not have any proof of that so im selling it as an 883 the bike has some paint chips a total of 4 not bad at all bike has good rubber on the back and the front is about 50 percent just had the back brakes done at a local bike shop 2000 miles ago I had the 10,000 mile service done they tighten the primary chain adjusted the clutch and drive beltand changed the primary oil this bike has a lot more potential its running at 6 psi previous owner had it at 14 psi that is one reason I would think that it had a built motor the only reason its at 6 psi now is because someone stole my boost controller haven't got around to buying a new one I did down jet it for the lower boost bike runs on 100 octane but the previous owner said you could run it on 93 octane the only reason I am selling is that I'm wanting a more comfortable bike there are only 3 things I would suggest the new owner do1 would be by a breather kit and get new air filter for the velocity stack and play with the jet sizes I feel there's a lot more potential that could be had from this bike with just playing with the Jets I do have a video of the bike running and driving I will try to post at thanks for looking please feel free to message me at anytime2013-10-02 07:57:42Wood Dale, Illinois, US12,0002,500.00 -

Wed, 01 Oct 2014Harley-Davidson has recalled more than 105,000 Touring models from the 2014 model year, and approximately 1400 Street models from the 2015 model year. The Touring models have been recalled due to a possible failure of a component in the clutch master cylinder. This possible failure could cause a reduction in pressure available to keep the clutch disengaged, according to the NHTSA.

Harley-Davidson Goes Low for 2015
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Harley-Davidson revealed the new 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low and Ultra Limited Low, offering what it calls the the lowest seat height of any premium touring motorcycle on the market. Designed with riders 5 feet 7 inches and shorter in mind, the two Low models have a seat height of 25.6 inches from the ground, or 1.7 inches lower than the regular models. The lower seat isn’t the only change to accommodate shorter riders.

Tue, 26 Aug 2014It’s no surprise, as we’ve already seen the spy photos and California Air Resources Board documents, but Harley-Davidson has officially introduced its new Freewheeler trike, adding a second three-wheeled model to go with the Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Whereas the Tri Glide is designed for touring needs, the Freewheeler is more of a cruiser with 12-inch mini-ape-hanger handlebars and bobtail fenders. Up front is a seven-piece nacelle with a dual halogen lamp mounted tight to the 49mm telescopic fork and frame.
2015 Harley-Davidson CVO Lineup Revealed
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Harley-Davidson revealed its four-model Custom Vehicle Operations lineup for 2015, adding new CVO versions of the Road Glide Ultra and Street Glide to go with the returning CVO Softail Deluxe and CVO Limited. Our own Evans Brasfield is currently in Sonoma, Calif., for Harley-Davidson’s 2015 press launch, and he’ll have full first ride reports later this week. For now, let’s take a look at the CVO models.
Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
