Selling my 2014 HD 1200. 12XX miles. Still under warranty. Properly maintained and extremely low miles. Always uses premium gas and was broken in slowly and lovingly. HD special "candy custom" chrome flake paint on the tank (gets compliments every ride). My crappy pictures don't do this bike justice; come look at it! Asking $8250 which is below book and retail value. Will entertain all offers so make me a fair offer and it's yours. MSRP new was $11,000. Upgraded to Vance and Hines exhaust (sound amazing). Budding Artist and MDA Ambassador Create Motorcycle Painting to Benefit MDA
Sat, 27 Jul 2013Reagan Imhoff dreams of a career in art, and the determined 8-year-old and MDA Ambassador won’t let Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type II get in the way of those dreams. Her parents’ New Berlin, WI, home is plastered with hundreds of her drawings, and a painting of hers sold for $5,000 at the MDA Black-N-Blue Ball in May. Local artist and Harley-Davidson designer Mathew Hintz is encouraging her passion.
US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
