I have sold hundreds of Sportsters but I've never had one that runs like this one. Although I can't document it I would quess this bike has high compression pistons. It would be hard to imagine a stock bike running this strong. The paint on this machine is a cool combination of Candy Orange and Beer Bottle. It looks great in the sunlight and is free of dings, dents, or scratches. The prior owner installed a high flow breather and a throatty set of Vance & Hines pipes. This bike runs and drives as good as it looks and a fresh service and rear tire where just done. The 1200cc motor has incredible power and the tranny is silkey smooth. This beautiful Sporty needs nothing but a new owner to enjoy the ride. Local buyers just add tax and tag and you can ride out. No additional doc or dealer fees. Now what would be even more amazing is if there was a dude riding that bike on the highway while she did that. What would be a million times more amazing would be if that dude was me.

Arlen Ness B-Day Bash At Petersen Museum

On July 12 the Petersen Automotive Museum is throwing a birthday party for one of motorcycling’s customizing icons, Arlen Ness. The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.
