I am selling my 2012 harley davidson iron. It has 1,7xx miles on it and all services to the bike have been done at the harley dealer here in town. There has been some slight customization to the bike to give it more of a bobber feel, but we didn't go overboard with it. The rear fender was shortened about 2-3 ins, and the front fender was removed. (i still have all the original parts and will include them if you want them) In addition to this i put python exhaust, and whitewalls on the bike, but i will also include the factory tires that came on the bike, so you get two sets of tires each with under 1000mis on them. I also put a rich phillips seat on the bike and with all this it looks amazing. I get compliments on it daily. This bike looks great, and has that old school bobber feel without sacrificing all the features of new bikes we kept all turn signals and definitely improved on harley's already great design.I would really like to sell this ASAP and will consider any fair offer. Harley Declares Women Riders Month
Tue, 10 Feb 2009Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
Harley’s Ed Krawiec is 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Champ
Mon, 14 Nov 2011Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points.
