2012 Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight, Great Price. Clean Bike. - The 2012 Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight XL1200X is one of the garage custom motorcycles in the Harley Dark Custom line. This bike cruises down the road with a 1200 cc Evolution engine – an engine with a true Harley-Davidson soul. The Forty-Eight also has an authentic peanut tank which first appeared on Harley-Davidson back in 1948 (its name origin) and has been a defining Sportster feature ever since. The front end of the bike looks beefy with its fat MT90 tire. The Harley Sportster Forty-Eight look is enhanced with the lowered front and rear suspension. Add a low seat height, and you have a serious looking motorcycle with an approachable riding stance. Take sometime and look over the features of this Harley Dark Custom, including the unique under mount motorcycle mirrors. Harley-Davidson Goes Low for 2015
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Harley-Davidson revealed the new 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low and Ultra Limited Low, offering what it calls the the lowest seat height of any premium touring motorcycle on the market. Designed with riders 5 feet 7 inches and shorter in mind, the two Low models have a seat height of 25.6 inches from the ground, or 1.7 inches lower than the regular models. The lower seat isn’t the only change to accommodate shorter riders.
Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season
Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
2013 Harley-Davidson Models Revealed in CARB Documents
Fri, 22 Jun 2012The bulk of the 2013 Harley-Davidson model lineup has been revealed in documents released by the California Air Resources Board. While this is a fairly lengthy list of models, it may not be complete as Harley-Davidson sometimes saves a couple of new model announcements for later in the year. Most of the models revealed are returning models but there are a couple of omissions as well as several additions, including new anniversary models celebrating Harley-Davidson’s upcoming 110th anniversary.
