I had a unique opportunity this week to sit down with Oliver Shokouh, the founder of the Love Ride, only days before the 25th anniversary of the purportedly largest one-day rally in the world, kicks-off this coming Sunday, October 26. First and foremost I’m very grateful for Oliver to set aside over half an hour of his precious time so close to the event. Not only does he head-up this massive event, he’s also busy running the very busy and successful Harley-Davidson/Buell of Glendale (California).

Watching the promo videos that Harley-Davidson puts out does get me pumped.  Harley does however really seem to reinforce the stereotype of a typical Harley rider, I’m not sure if I am cool enough but the new Sportster Forty-Eight looks great!  Harley could use some positive feedback after they announced their Q4 results… Get the Flash Player to see this player. Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Party Tickets Go On Sale in December

Harley-Davidson knows how to throw a party, and next year’s 110th anniversary celebration will be a big one. The Motor Company has already got things underway with its “110 Years of Freedom” world tour kicking off in Tibet in August. The tour will continue around the world through to the Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration in Milwaukee, Wis., Aug.
