this is a garage kept, adult owned 2008 Harley Davidson sportster xl883c custom in excellent condition with 5,800 miles (still riding so it may have a few more).the bike has lots of accessories, it has a detachable HD windshield and backrest, mustang seat and matching backrest pad, mid controls, front signal relocation, laydown LED tail lamp & license plate bracket, python mamba exhaust, progressive HD shocks, drag bars, battery tender lead etc...the bike has had its 1,000 and 5,000 mile service so its good to go. no problems at all with the bike im just looking to get a dual sport and do a little adventure riding and I only have room for one bike so this one should go to a good home. check my 100% perfect feedback and buy with confidence.

Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit
Wed, 24 Oct 2012From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.

Fri, 09 Mar 2012The Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines racing team unveiled its restyled V-Rod drag motorcycles ahead of the first Pro Stock Motorcycle round of the 2012 NHRA Full Drag Racing series. Reigning champion Ed Krawiec and Andrew Hines will compete for the Harley-Davidson team on new V-Rod drag bikes, restyled to more closely resembled the Night Rod Special production model. This marks the first restyling of Harley-Davidson’s NHRA competition bikes since the V-Rod entered the competition in 2002, and comes as The Motor Company celebrates the V-Rod’s 10th anniversary.“The goal was to make the drag racing motorcycles look more like the current production Night Rod Special motorcycle,” says Kris Schoonover, Harley-Davidson racing manager.
