Harley-Davidson Sportster description

I bought this bike used from Performance HD is Syracuse New York last June. Put about 2500 miles on it with out a problem. Comes with a nice removable windshield, and a pair of Saddlebags. I would still be adding up the miles but bought a 2010 Fat Boy this spring and can't stay off it. So the Sporty has to go, sweet problem free ride and a lot of fun for a short distance. Love the all black motor. Has a set of Screaming Eagle mufflers, and I think that the EFI was remapped as the bike seems to run fine with no bluing or backfire. I can not testify to that fact and the dealer did not know. I will answer any questions that you may have.

Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit

Wed, 24 Oct 2012

From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.

The TwinTrax Is A Machine Straight From Mad Max

Fri, 27 Sep 2013

Just look at this motorcycle for a moment. A creation of the German Motorcycle Authority, the TwinTrax is nearly 107 inches long, weighs 882 pounds, and took owner/builder Christoph Madaus 12 years to complete. Oh, and don’t forget the two Harley-Davidson V-Twins powering this thing.
