Its a bigger, low-profile 4.5-gallon design that boosts the custom look and holds more juice so you stop less. Notice the bigger fuel cap, as well as the side profile that pays homage to classic Sportster tanks. The bike is lower, thanks to a new seat and frame. We widened the rear tire. Theres a new swept-back handlebar and riser that looks and feels sweet. Then we went big with power, with a redesigned Evolution engine. We gave it performance cams and high-compression, high-flow cylinder heads. The result is sizable gains in torque and horsepower. So much, we had to push the redline up to 6000 RPM. Thanks to new vehicle certification data from Australia, we can confirm that the Heritage Classic 114 and the Fat Boy 114 will be receiving 120th Anniversary Editions. The Australian certification for Harley-Davidson’s Softail models was updated today, adding mentions of two new model codes: “FLFBSANV,” and “FLHCSANV,” both with vehicle identification number codes that indicate 2023 models.
Japanese Bike Shop Giving Away Harley-Davidson with Life-Sized Anime Character
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Japanese shop Bike-O is holding a draw with a rather unique grand prize: a used 2008 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a life-sized figure of anime character Fujiko Mine from the long-running anime and manga series “Lupin III“. We’re not sure whether the motorcycle or the statue is supposed to be the bigger prize here, to be honest. Obviously, we’d rather have an actual road-worthy Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a custom “champagne pink” paint job.
Stolen Harley-Davidson Returned 17 Years Later [video]
Thu, 17 Dec 2009Stolen from his apartment in West L.A. 17 years ago, Warren Huff, thought his Harley-Davidson was gone forever. The bike was found in Valencia after a man brought the motorcycle in for inspection. The bike was stock originally but Huff gets the customized Harley back as is. Hit the jump to see the news clip.
