Harley-Davidson Sportster description

Selling my 2004 HD Sportster 1200 Roadster with 36,992 miles. Very nice shape. Runs great. I ride weekly to Sunday breakfast and around town.  Good paint, no dents or scrapes. Normal wear for a bike this year. Stock seat is nice with no issues.  Lots of chrome, see pics. Cafe fairing. Stock mirrors, Biltwell grips. New battery last year. Tires have lots of tread left. Added unit that turns rear signals into brake lights that flash and serve as running lights. Speed sensor replaced. New brake pads front and rear last year. New fuel shutoff. Bike has been stored inside as long as I've had it. No corrosion on it. Everything nice and shiny. All fluids changed about 1000 miles ago. Full synthetic oil and K&N filter. Screaming eagle Stage 1 upgrade with carb jetted properly. Screaming Eagle slip ons with baffles. Sounds nice, not obnoxious. Bike is well cared for as all of my things are. Clean Florida title in my name.

Bike is located in Tampa, Florida. Pickup or shipping is your responsibility. I will make myself available for shipper pickup but cannot deliver to shipper. I do have a vehicle with hitch and can deliver within a reasonable distance for time and cost.

Due to being scammed once this year, I can only accept cash or cashiers check made on Bank of America. I will not release the bike until check clears and bank confirms funds are in place.  I will accept paypal for the entire sum but you will have to cover paypal charges.

Harley’s Ed Krawiec is 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Champ

Mon, 14 Nov 2011

Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points. More from Harley-Davidson on Krawiec’s win: “I think this is really a statement on the season, to end it with an all-Harley final and the championship, and with Willie G.

Harley Art

Mon, 16 Jan 2012

A new display in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee is set to open at the end of this week exhibiting the artwork of the firm's styling chief Willie G Davidson. As well as being the grandson of the original 'Davidson' and in charge of all Harley's styling, it turns out that Willie G is a dab hand with a paintbrush. According to Harley-Davidson, the display will include “idyllic rural landscapes and still life watercolour paintings with strong luminosity and form that hint at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as the pacesetter in motorcycle design.” The firm's museum has also announced other special exhibits planned for later in the year, including “Journey of the Iron Elite: The Evolution of Motorcycle Culture through the Eyes of African-Americans” and “Born to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket” - a 4000-square-foot display dedicated purely to black biker jackets...
