Harley-Davidson Sportster description

 2000 Sportster 883 with a 1200 big bore kit.  5670 original miles.  Excellent condition; fresh, complete fluid change.  Screaming Eagle pipes.  Easy on/off chrome windshield.  Chrome risers and pull back bars.  Custom seat, E-P-pad and back rest/luggage rack.  Extra chrome.  Female-driven. Has custom made Voyager kit on back.  Custom painted.  Has locking Harley hard bags, chrome HD V luggage racks, trailer hitch (not used).  Runs and drives excellent.  Some scratches and touchup on red, otherwise extremely clean, well-maintained bike.  A definite attention-grabbing Harley!  

Comes with mounting and user instructions. Have mounting kit “A” also at extra cost or sell separate.   Check Voyager to see what it all fits.

Bike is also being sold locally so auction could end at any time.

Winning bidder must deposit a non-refundable $500 down payment within 48 hours of auction close via Paypal.  Remaining funds must be received no later than two (2) weeks from auction end.  Negative feedback will be given to non-paying buyers and a case via Ebay will be opened.  Bike must be picked up no later than two weeks from auction end.  Bike will not leave nor title signed off until all funds have been received/verified.  Cashiers check, wire transfer or cash accepted.  Once auction is over, bike will be kept in appropriate general care by the seller.  Buyer is responsible for insurance once auction has ended.  No warranty is expressed or implied.  Bike is sold as is.  Transportation of motorcycle is buyer’s responsibility.  After transaction is completed, possible delivery for expenses.  I am, of course, willing to help with shipping arrangements if necessary.

On July 12 the Petersen Automotive Museum is throwing a birthday party for one of motorcycling’s customizing icons, Arlen Ness. The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.
