Up for sale is a 1999 Harley Sportster 1200 chop. 2nd Owner, Approx 13,000 miles on stock motor. Currently registered through May 2014. 21" Spoke front wheel with Avon Speedmaster tire, 16" cast rear wheel(powdercoated) with Shink double whitewall tire, 2000i Dyna Ignition, front end lowered 2" with Progressive Suspension drop-in front fork lowering kit, 10" shocks on rear, Nash MC pipes, Front St Cycle bars, Belt to Chain conversion, Biltwell/Hippy Killer pegs, Mooneyes derby cover, Rear fender/Struts chopped, custom sissy bar fabbed out of old chopper sissy bar, west eagle seat, Haifley bros p pad. Motor is mechanically sound and has been serviced regularly. This thing is ready to ride. Made trips to Norcal, AZ, Nevada and Utah with no problems.

The second annual ‘Ride to the Dunes’ charity ride for child abuse awareness kicks off Sunday, June 2 2013, with Grand Marshal Lorenzo Lamas leading the way. The ride will start at Bartels’ Harley-Davidson in Marina Del Rey, California and end at Sycamore Cove State Beach in Malibu, where guests will be treated to lunch and a concert by Alchemy. Riders of all makes and models are welcome to join.

Zero Motorcycles Named to Made in USA Foundation Hall of Fame

The Made in the USA Foundation has named Zero Motorcycles to its 2012 Hall of Fame class, recognizing the electric motorcycle manufacturer’s commitment to American manufacturing. Zero Motorcycles, founded in 2006 in Santa Cruz, Calif., by former NASA engineer Neal Saiki, becomes the second motorcycle manufacturer named to the Foundation’s Hall of Fame. Harley-Davidson was inducted in 2011.
