This is a 1980 Harley Davidson xlh 1000 sportster. It has been completely rebuilt from top to bottom. The bike was stripped down to the bare frame and built from the ground up. Engine completely torn down and bored. 40 over. New pistons,rings,rods,bearings,balanced,fresh heads everything carefully inspected and assembled. This bike runs awesome and is leak free. The rear tire is oversized,lowered,solo seat with custom brackets for easy removal, custom rear struts, l.e.d. turn signals,to just name a few. This bike is spotless. Tank graphics are painted on under clear coat, not recalcitrant. Title is clear and all numbers match. This bike turns heads and truly is a one of a kind. You won't see another like it. Harley-Davidson Hiring 400 Temporary Workers
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Harley-Davidson is looking for 400 casual workers for its factory in York, Pa., to help with a planned seasonal surge in production. The jobs begin in January 2014 and will run through until the end of May. “When we ramp up production to meet customer demands, it allows us the manufacturing flexibility to build the right bike, the right time for the right person,” Harley-Davidson Spokesperson Bernadette Lauer tells the York Daily Record.

Harley-Davidson and Brando Estate Settle Boot Suit
Tue, 06 Mar 2012The estate of Marlon Brando and Harley-Davidson have reached a settlement in a civil suit over the use of the actor’s name. As reported last May, the dispute was over a leather riding boot Harley-Davidson sold as “The Brando”. The suit sought an injunction for Harley-Davidson to stop using the Brando name, and asked for unspecified damages.
