1978 Harley Davidson XLH Anniversary Edition Sportster
In 1978 Harley Davidson made a limited amount of XLH Anniversary Edition Sportsters. This one has beautiful original paint with no scratches and no dents. The exhaust system, carburetor, air cleaner, handlebars, aluminum wheels, ect, are the way they came from the factory. In 78 the seat is made of real leather, it has no rips or tears. The gauges have been replaced because the originals were not readable. Everything works. The battery is new along with a starter solenoid. Both front brake calipers have been rebuilt, the tires are good. It starts with a push of a button, electric start only. The motor runs good, clutch works correctly and it shifts through all gears. It does have matching numbers.

Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010, according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.
2015 Harley-Davidson CVO and Twin-Cooled Models Certified by CARB
Tue, 19 Aug 2014The California Air Resource Board has released new certification documents revealing most of Harley-Davidson‘s 2015 line-up. The CARB executive orders, required before a motorcycle is allowed to be sold in California, reveal new CVO versions of the Road Glide Ultra and Street Glide, two low versions of the Electra Glide and more models receiving Harley-Davidson’s Twin-Cooled engine. Introduced last year on the Ultra Limited, CVO Limited and Tri-Glide Ultra trike, the Twin-Cooled engine uses liquid-cooling for the cylinder heads, reducing emissions.
2012-2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special Recalled for Loose License Plate Bracket
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall on all Night Rod Special models from 2012 and some from 2013 because of a potentially loose license plate bracket. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounting screws connecting the VRSDCDX‘s license plate bracket to the tail may loosen, potentially causing the plate to rub against the rear tire. This may cause the plate bracket to rotate as well as damage rear brake lines.
