1977 Harley-Davidson Sportster XLT, 1000cc, Iron Head, "Baby Dresser." The bike has about 38k original mileage. Most things work on the bike as they should and it starts, idles and goes down the road well. The rear brake does not work, the tires should be replaced and there a few leaks that should be addressed. I've ridden it about 3 miles and it seems tight. You don't see many of these out there and it is a very unique design. The forward controls, the "tank lift," exhaust and the rear shocks all appear after market. Other than that, and a little Harley "bling," the bike appears original. Might as well start the auction at the reserve, $1500.00. Three-Year-Old Motorcycle Prodigy?
Tue, 18 Aug 2009Even though Tiger woods started paying golf at age two, this story of a three-year-old boy from New Delhi, India is probably just as impressive, maybe more. Azeem Khan, photographed on the Royal Enfield Bullet above, has been granted a special license by judges in India allowing him to ride his motorcycle on side roads but is not allowed out on the main roads by himself. Khan’s father had to customize the bike so that the young boy could reach the controls and prove that he could handle the motorcycle on his own. I used to sit him on my bike and he would always grab at the controls.
