Harley-Davidson Sportster description

 This 1971 Harley Davidson Sportster 900 XLCH with 12,951 miles was purchased in 1982 and totally rebuilt in 1983. Vin # is 4A series. Only original parts used on the rebuild except the rear fender side reflectors were fabricated.
It was driven and stored indoors through 2004. It was then moved to a detached garage and has not been driven or started since 2004. Bike is stuck in gear and can not move. A motorcycle jack will be required to move/ ship bike.

Stolen from his apartment in West L.A. 17 years ago, Warren Huff, thought his Harley-Davidson was gone forever.  The bike was found in Valencia after a man brought the motorcycle in for inspection.  The bike was stock originally but Huff gets the customized Harley back as is. Here’s a story that might seem humorous at first but turns out to be a testament to a man’s love of motorcycling and the memories of a fallen friend. Ed Spalding of Terrace, British Columbia, Canada, and his close friend Roger Bourgoin bought Harley-Davidson motorcycles in 1991. To celebrate their purchases, the two also bought a pair of gold rings.

Harley-Davidson Breakout Recall Caused by Fuel Tank Angle

An official recall announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sheds some light on the cause of a recall campaign on 2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Breakout models. We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.
