This is a NO RESERVE auction Original numbers matching frame w/ 1966 900cc Ironhead motor. Motor is kick start only. 2 owner bike that has been stored in a garage for the last 2 years Does not currently run, but motor turns over freely w/ good compression Vin# 66XLCH4604 Good example of a classic original ironhead Bike has alot of custom modifications and performance upgrades.this is an original old school build that was modified over the years. Front wheel and tire are in very nice shape w/ 80% tread remaining.Front brake cable needs replaced(see pics) Rear tire has some dry rot and will need replaced. Tue, 21 Aug 2012For 2013 Harley’s Dyna Street Bob gets updated styling treatments that further promote the production-level bobber’s no-nonsense image. In addition to the restyling, the Street Bob joins the 1200 Custom as one of two bikes available for Harley’s web-based customization program known as H-D1. “Our focus for the Street Bob is always on street appeal,” Harley-Davidson’s Styling Manager Tony Pink said in a release.
Easy Rider 40th Anniversary
Tue, 27 Oct 2009Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary. The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.
