Harley-Davidson Sportster description

2003 100th Anniversary Edition Harley Davidson Sportster 883 XLC – LIKE NEW

This is a FEMALE owned and very gently ridden all Black 2003 100th Anniversary Sportster XL883C. It has just over 1,000 pampered miles on it along with every piece of chrome you can buy for it already installed. It has ALWAYS been garage kept. I am the original owner with title in hand.  There are also a set of hard leather Harley Davidson saddlebags already installed on it as well.  These alone were over $650.  ALL HARLEY DAVIDSON PARTS - NO CHEAP AFTER MARKET PARTS ON THIS BIKE!

No accidents, never been dropped. Serviced at a Harley Davidson dealership within the past month and ready to ride!

The reason I am selling is because I took a work assignment out of state 9 years ago (about a year after buying the bike) and never moved back.  Always thought I would move back home but never did and now my parents have decided to move where I am.  I am selling the bike in PA rather than moving to CA due to the emission laws and the fact that it can not be registered here in CA since it was not manufactured for CA.

Extras … cover, helmet, riding gloves, riding glasses, leather conditioner kit for the saddle bags, cleaning cloth, etc.

Most Obvious Press Release Of 2013: Biker Chicks Sexier Than Pedestrians

Tue, 31 Dec 2013

In a misallocation of funds Harley-Davidson recently spent an untold buttload of money proving something men have known for years: That women who ride motorcycles are sexier and better between the sheets than women who don’t ride. Common responses from male motorcyclists to the press release were: Duh; Tell me something I didn’t already know; Can I be a recruiter? Meant to entice non-riding females into the Harley-Davidson army by pimping the Bar & Shield’s website, www.h-d.com/women, the press release was peppered with effeminate catchphrases such as “physical intimacy, “communication,” and “improves relationships” but the basal message is one of female motorcyclists being sexier, happier and more confident than their non-riding counterparts.

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
