Some of the upgrades included are: Performance Machine rear brake caliper, Willwood high performance brake rotors, Custom Chrome hand controls and switches, 1" diameter HD narrow beach handlebars, 21" Fat Daddy front wheel, 16" Fat Daddy rear wheel (both wheels powder coated to match Gunmetal Pearl Paint), Avon Venom tires (front & rear), Sampson Tru-dual high performance exhaust 36" long with removable fishtail tips, upgraded chrome sprocket, custom seat made from genuine stingray over genuine leather. He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...
Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
