I am listing this 2002 Harley Davidson Fire Fighters Commemorative Special lst Edition Road King for a friend who served honorably as a Tampa Florida Fire Fighter for 30 years and is now retired.  He purchased this bike when it first came out and like most Harley owners have gone above and beyond making this collector’s edition one of a kind with over $8,000.00 in extras.  Total invested in this motorcycle is $32,000.00.  This bike is in super condition and better than it was new from factory.  Extras include:  95 cu., SE204Cam, 48mm.Throttle Body, and SE Racer Tuner.

Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule

AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.

It’s almost automatic every time we write about Harley-Davidson that the company’s critics jump out to say how its bikes are heavy or assembled from parts bin leftovers or technologically decades behind its competitors. In its first quarter 2014 financial report, Harley-Davidson reported a 5.8% increase in motorcycle sales including 3.0% in the U.S.
