Harley-Davidson Softail description
This is a mint, never damaged 2008 Harley Davidson, Anniversary edition bike that has been garaged and perfectly maintained its entire life. It has never been laid down or damaged in any way. It is low mileage, approxomately 13,500 miles. It has had the 10,000 mile maintenance. It has several thousand dollars of accessories, and has the original wheels sent to Impress Plating and Polishing to have them machined and chrome plated. Ithey are perfect and have no peeling or pitting. The factory wheels have always been the nose wart of the fatboy, and these wheels give the bik a truly elegant look. I have added the tail light location kit so saddlebags can be added, but do not have any bags for it. Lots of other add-ons that you can see in the pictures. I have this bike for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells locally. My 28 year old daughter has to have shoulder surgery and no insurance, so it has to go. The True Evel tour will be at the Battistinis California Dreamin' Expo, 28th-29th May 2011 in Bournemouth, UK. Show-goers will get the chance to see Knievel's famous Harley-Davidson which crashed in a jump over a tank of sharks, the X-2 Sky Cycle from the ill-fated Snake River Canyon jump, the Wheelie Dragster Car, and of course the instantly recognisable blue and white leather suits.
