1997 Springer Softtail (1997)
This is a 1997 Evolution motor Springer that I bought new in 1997. It is a low mileage bike. It has multiple upgrades as you will see in the pictures. The front end has just been serviced last fall by Two Brothers Motors in Clarksville, TN. I believe the Springers are not being made any more due to the high(er) maintainence of the front ends. It runs fantastic. There is nothing that needs to be done to this bike. The engine is oil tight. It does have some scratches in the front and rear fenders due to the saddlebags and bungii cords that have been used. It comes with two seats. One upgrade you can't see is the EV27 Andrews cam. Tue, 19 Aug 2014The California Air Resource Board has released new certification documents revealing most of Harley-Davidson‘s 2015 line-up. The CARB executive orders, required before a motorcycle is allowed to be sold in California, reveal new CVO versions of the Road Glide Ultra and Street Glide, two low versions of the Electra Glide and more models receiving Harley-Davidson’s Twin-Cooled engine. Introduced last year on the Ultra Limited, CVO Limited and Tri-Glide Ultra trike, the Twin-Cooled engine uses liquid-cooling for the cylinder heads, reducing emissions.
