Harley-Davidson Softail description

I'm selling my beautiful 2014 Harley Softtail Slim. The color of this motorcycle is charcoal satin. I can't begin to describe how beautiful that paint is.

Along with the motorcycle are numerous add-on's and accessories.

I had the dealership install flat black Rinehart Churchill exhaust pipes with air intake. The bike was also dyno-tuned by the dealer at the time.

In addition, the bike comes with Harley luggage and a custom luggage rack, black headlight visor, black turn signal visors with tinted lenses, aftermarket Harley timer cover, Kuryakyn horn cover, leather swing arm bag, handlebar risers and finally, mustang rider and passenger seats. The seats alone are worth $500 dollar and have gel inserts which are incredibly comfortable.

The motorcycle came with the Harley security system (an expensive add-on).

I'm eager to sell so please contact me if you're seriously interested in the motorcycle. I marked the price down because the next owner will have to do the 10,000 mile service and the bike will need tires next season depending on how it's ridden.

This motorcycle is in like new condition. I'm only selling it to downsize to something smaller.

Please text or call and leave a message at 217-714-8286 if you have questions. Thank you!

Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Party Is Just A Week Away

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

Harley-Davidson has been preparing for its 110th anniversary party for the past year, celebrating in 11 countries on six different continents. In the past year, Harley-Davidson employees, dealers and riders have shared thousands of amazing experiences, including a ride through the Tibetan Plateau in China, a parade along the beaches of Sao Paulo and even a Papal blessing. But now the party is coming home to Milwaukee over Labor Day weekend, which promises to be the biggest celebration of them all.  Milwaukee residents have always been cordial hosts for Harley-Davidson enthusiasts who make the journey to the City of Festivals from around the world. One Anniversary tradition is the welcoming home of thousands of riders by Milwaukee area residents who stand on the city’s highway overpasses with homemade welcome signs as riders arrive in Milwaukee.

Harley Art

Mon, 16 Jan 2012

A new display in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee is set to open at the end of this week exhibiting the artwork of the firm's styling chief Willie G Davidson. As well as being the grandson of the original 'Davidson' and in charge of all Harley's styling, it turns out that Willie G is a dab hand with a paintbrush. According to Harley-Davidson, the display will include “idyllic rural landscapes and still life watercolour paintings with strong luminosity and form that hint at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as the pacesetter in motorcycle design.” The firm's museum has also announced other special exhibits planned for later in the year, including “Journey of the Iron Elite: The Evolution of Motorcycle Culture through the Eyes of African-Americans” and “Born to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket” - a 4000-square-foot display dedicated purely to black biker jackets...
