Harley-Davidson Softail description

This bike is in excellent condition and essentially brand new. It runs very well and is an absolute joy to ride. It has a rear passenger pad and pegs for an additional rider. It has Vance and Hines Short Shot exhaust installed. The bike is nice and loud, but doesn't upset any of our neighbors. Excellent bike and a great deal. I am the second owner of this mortar cycle, and I bought it 1500 miles ago. If purchased, shipping costs would be paid by the buyer. Payment is either by PayPal or certified check.

Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle

Fri, 31 Jul 2009

I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl.  He’s amazingly talented and very driven.  Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson.  The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.

Who To Watch In The AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

The Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series is set to kick off this weekend at Daytona International Raceway, and the competition looks set to be as close as ever. In the contest’s three-year history, the combined margin of victory stands at just over two tenths of a second. And last year’s dogfight saw ninth position take the checkered flag less than eight tenths removed from the victory. Each previous contest has developed into a full-blown drafting war, with the class’ evenly matched machinery testing the tactical acumen of its pilots as they negotiate the high banks within inches of one another.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
