Harley-Davidson Softail description

2012 Harley-Davidson Softail Fat Boy, Bike is used - The 2012 Harley-Davidson Softail Fat Boy FLSTF is one of the quintessential cruiser motorcycles. Hearkening to the 'hardtail' choppers of the '60s and '70s, the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle keeps that heritage alive more than forty years later. The FLSTF Fat Boy is the original 'fat custom' bike—laid-back and luxurious with an unmistakable profile on the road. New for 2012, the Harley Fat Boy features a new larger air-cooled Twin Cam 103 Harley engine with 6-speed cruise drive tranmission, providing more power for passing, hill-climbing, and riding with passenger and luggage. Take a seat on this Harley and get the experience of one of the 2012 Harley cruiser motorcycles. Learn about other Harley Softail motorcycles in addition to this cruiser. Look at the Heritage Softail Classic too, this classic motorcycle is ready for the road. If you like choppers, be sure to take a look at the Fat Boy Lo, another of the custom Harley motorcycles.Bike has detachable windshield and backrest, slip ons, custom engine guard with pegs and more

Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

Hero Motocorp Teases Harley-Davidson-branded Model for India

Wed, 05 Apr 2023

An Indian-made air-cooled Single-cylinder Sportster? Harley-Davidson and Hero Motocorp announced a partnership back in 2020 for the distribution of existing Harley motorcycles and the development of a new range of models for the Indian market. We haven’t heard much from that arrangement… until now, when a selection of “spy photos” of a Harley-Davidson-branded motorcycle with a 400-ish cc Single landed in the hands of the Indian press.
