Harley-Davidson Softail description
I purchased this bike around October of last year. It has upgraded dual Sampson Exhaust which have a very nice low bellow to them without being excessively to loud. Bike rides and runs great with no issues. High windshield and some Willie G extra add one such as light covers, etc. Odometer shows 2394 and is accurate. Selling because I want a new Street Glide and I'm not giving the local dealership my bike for nothing. Everything works on this bike and I do in fact, inspect it each time before I ride. Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
Harley-Davidson Financial Services to Refund $228,000 in Settlement
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Harley-Davidson Financial Services agreed to reimburse more than 600 customers in Massachusetts a total of $228,000 to resolve a dispute over refunding enrollment fees on loans. Customers receiving financing occasionally pay optional enrollment fees for additional special loan terms. If a customer pays off its financing loan ahead of schedule, they may be entitled to a pro-rated refund on those enrollment fees.
