Harley-Davidson Softail description

2009 HARLEY DAVIDSON CROSSBONES Softail Customized. This bike is truly a head turner. Garage kept. I get compliments all the time wherever I go.
Below is a list of modifications I made to the bike:
-Custom Paint Job on Front and Rear Fenders as well as the gas tank. The colors are Candy Tangerine (Orange) with light metal Flake and a Gloss Black stripe running down the center of the bike without metal flake.
-Roland Sands "Tracker Rear Fender Kit"
-Roland Sands "Vintage Solo Seat"
-Roland Sands "Turbine Air Cleaner- Black OPS"
-Roland Sands "Tracker Tailight & Tag Bracket"
-Battistinis "C-Thru Black Forward Controls round hole contrast cut" and matching hand grips
-Battistinis "C-Thru Black Shifter Rod" (matches forward controls and hand grips)
-Vance and Hines Big Radius 2-into-2 black exhaust
-Wild 1 Chubby Springer Knuckle Handle bars
-HD contrast cut brake and clutch lever
-Had front and rear blinkers removed
-Headlight relocator mounting bracket.

Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead

The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.

Born on January 8th, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Aaron Presley would have been 75 years ago today if he was still alive today.  As a tribute to “The King” of Rock and Roll, the Harley-Davidson Museum has created a special exhibit, expanding on the semi-permanent collection from Elvis that has been on display since the museum was opened in 2008. The bill of sale, insurance, and registration papers for the 1956 Harley-Davidson KH pictured above will be on display along with the motorcycle that was owned by Elvis and the Graceland Museum has loaned some rare photos for the occasion. Along with Cadillac’s, Elvis had a passion for motorcycles but especially loved his Hogs and rode Harley’s in many of his films, including Roustabout (1964), Viva Las Vegas (1964), Clambake (1967) and Stay Away Joe (1968).
