For sale - 2009 Softail, 96 ci, 1,955 miles. Bought in August 2013 from a person in Hot Springs Village, who bought it from Landers Harley there. It is BEAUTIFUL. RED. EXCEPTIONAL. See the pictures. He states that it was covered and in a garage; has new battery, had dealer service, and runs great. It had 1,250 miles when I bought it. Has larger windshield. See the pictures.

The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.

Sun, 30 Oct 2022Someone’s not done bitchin’ in the kitchen ’bout Dyna; when H-D dropped the twin-shock classic after 2017, there was more than a little wailing and gnashing of gears. The first Dyna rolled out in 1991 in the form of the FXDB Sturgis, which I think is the one I rode to Sturgis. Ten years ago, Pete and Fonzie rode the FXDC Super Glide.
