This FXCW has several thousand dollars of custom parts including fenders, wheels, pulley, brake disks, air intake cover (all matching), exhaust pipes, mirrors, grips, pedals, and more. Additional mods include: raising the front of the tank a couple of inches, relocation of the tail lights, removal of the front blinkers (may not be legal in some states) and a few others, adding to the overall design of the bike.Note: there are two seats, the stock seat, and a custom Danny Gray seat with sharkskin inlay, but unfortunately, the inlay is sun-damaged and needs to be replaced (estimated price: $450 for an equal custom seat or $250 for something a little cheaper).See photos for more description... It's allegedly one of the most sought-after Harleys and has buyers from around the world itching to splash out on it. Not literally, you'd hope.
Mopar to Sponsor Canadian Superbike Championship
Mon, 12 Dec 2011Chrysler’s parts and accessories brand Mopar has signed on to be the title sponsor for the 2012 Canadian Superbike Championship. Mopar replaces Parts Canada which recently ended a 22-year partnership with CSBK over controversial comments made by the series organizer on an Internet forum. The seven-round CSBK series includes separate pro and amateur Superbike and Sportbike classes, as well as a Harley-Davidson XR1200 Cup and a new spec series for young riders featuring the Honda CBR250R.

The bike build project is a collaboration between the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Sturgis Brown High School, Black Hills Harley-Davidson, Terry Components, Dakota V-Twin and a large group of industry-leading parts sponsors. The program provides the opportunity for Sturgis Brown High School students to learn from leading motorcycle industry professionals in order to create a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle from a stock Harley-Davidson.
