2008 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train FXSTB, This 2008 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train is painted Pewter Denim. I think it compliments the Blacked out Night Train features perfectly. A Corbin seat was installed by its previous owner. Most people really like these seats and like any premium product they are priced at premium! The fact that this bike already has one installed will make your wallet very happy. Harley-Davidson supplied the Screamin' Eagle muffler set. It sounds better than stock but is not too loud. In the rear you will find a blacked out and quick detachable padded passenger's back rest and luggage rack. These are very handy. I use mine a lot. The remainder of this FXSTB is stock. Its 96 C.I. counter balanced V-twin motor and 6 speed cruise drive transmission became a standard feature for these models in 2007. Fuel injection was also standard for this bike. I had to pay extra for FI on my 2001 FXSTB. Night Trains have a different riding position than the other Softails and that's one of the many reasons I like them. Tue, 23 Oct 2012Harley-Davidson reported a profit of $134.0 million dollars over the third quarter of 2012. That represents a 27% decrease from the net profit of $183.6 million reported over the same quarter of 2011, but the drop was an expected result from a planned decrease in third quarter shipments as Harley-Davidson adopts an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) manufacturing system at its York, Pa., factory. Harley-Davidson Suspends All Vehicle Production for Two Weeks
Thu, 19 May 2022Harley-Davidson announced it is pausing assembly and shipments of all motorcycles for a two-week period due to a problem with a component from a third-party supplier. Production halted as of May 18, the day after Harley-Davidson was notified about the problem by the supplier. The official statement was brief, and offered very little in the way of detail.

Tue, 10 Sep 2013MDA Ambassador Reagan Imhoff wanted the artwork she created with Harley-Davidson designer Mathew Hintz to “raise a lot of money for MDA so we can have more scientists to make medicines.” The original drawing of a purple Harley-Davidson Softail Breakout motorcycle brought in $3500 on August 31 at the MDA auction during the 110th Anniversary Celebration. The pair hopes to raise even more with sales of the limited edition, signed prints, available through www.HintzStudios.com. “I’m happy our artwork raised some money, and hope we sell all of the prints!” said Reagan, who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a painful neuromuscular disease.
