Harley-Davidson Softail description

2008 Harley-Davidson Softail CROSS BONES, I am selling my fully custom Crossbones. Several thousand in the kit for the chopped fender and paint. Also new pipes, screaming eagle tuner, apes, and much more. Over 23,000 invested and only 14,000 miles. The only reason I am selling is I rarely get to ride due to work and travel. It is and always has been garage kept. You can go buy a stock and nearly stock crossbones on here for 14k and then add 2 grand on it and it will still not look like this bike. Other Crossbones riders hate when I park next to them. The bike is even better looking in person. I have attached a video. The sound is terrible on the video due to the wind and my iphone cover but this bike sounds beautiful in person. The bike comes with the exhaust of your choice between the two shown in the pictures. Less than 200 miles ago a new battery was installed as well as a 2500 HD service. Its garage door opening ready, Tuned, and everything you could ever want already here for you. Enjoy the savings on your end. $15,990.00. I had to remove my cell number due to the low lifes texting me everyday for a scam.

Harley Declares Women Riders Month

Tue, 10 Feb 2009

Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.

Motorcycle Ride for Diabetes

Photograph by: Roy Antal, Leader-Post By and large, motorcyclists are some of the most generous citizens in the world. Riding events all over the world bring in untold millions of dollars for numerous worthy charities. Keeping with this theme, one hardy Canadian rider is braving the Great White North’s frigid winter temperatures by riding his Harley coast to coast to raise awareness for diabetes, a disease that has seen a rapid explosion of new afflictions.
